I had rehearsal for Wee Little Man (again) last night. Humphrey wasn't there Mark was though. Yay! I finally had a fellow TSAYer with me. Last night was hilarious. Aside from the naturally funny people around, bloopers are there to laugh at right? It would be pointless for me to write down the bloopers coz it's not like anyone (save mark and the other cast members) here would understand. Hehe. Ey TSAYers, I think UECP performance is open to the public. Only problem is it's on June 10 - Friday school night. Sucky, noh? Don't worry, I'll make sure you guys will watch some day .

Quite frankly there's nothing new going on. I miss my TSAY friends, as usual. I was looking through our photobucket awhile ago and felt the usual nostalgia. Will I feel like this until we see each other again??

Hee hee, joking.

Seriously. The heat is driving me nuts. I am doing real good in my piano though, even that I know yay! Can't comment much on the violin though. Still horrible at it, as usual. How do I expect to be good enough for the conservatory in three years? Or worse, the supposed Instrumentalist Club in... three weeks?

Anyway, I haven't sent the article I wrote to teacher Joan yet. Or chancel in general. I'm still chicken. I want her to read it but I am the drama queen of the week and am therefore going all drama queen about it.

Should I send it??

P.S. The smilies are so cute!

My article supposedly for the Chancellor, but I didn't have to guts to send it in so I didn't.

TSAY 05

What's so special about this year?
Could it be the class?
Could it be the (incredibly awesome and super fun) teachers?
Could it be the devotions?
Could it be the script?
Could it be the fact that I actually had a role and a solo?
Could it be the activities?
Could it be the songs?
Could it be because I had friends from school with me?
Or was it because I was used to TSAY?
This being my 4th time in TSAY, the structure didn't surprise me. Acting, music and dance classes plus devotions.
But out of the four times, this was without a doubt the most fun and most touching. There was just something else added to the mix.
Thinking about it now gives me three major factors.
First of all, the people. I knew about half of my class from either past TSAY workshops or from school, so I was comfortable around them from the start. The teachers also, were experienced, very talented, and just simply amazing teachers and more so, friends.
Second, it was the play and it's message. "All who call on the name of Jesus will be saved," our song says. "I am with you," our songs preached. The story wasn't about God leading a prophet. Our story was about God leading us. Me. You. Everyone. After our play, I for the first time started reading the Bible and really - truly, honestly - felt reassured and glad that "God keeps His word" and that "truth is truth, and truth will not change."
Last but most certainly not least - there was God. God was always there. But perhaps this time, we were older and (kind of) wiser and we acknowledged Him and His presence. He also shone through our teachers and TAs, and our devotions and prayers brought us much closer to Him. Because of that, He was able to use us as instruments, and there is not joy greater than that on earth.
These three things made my summer a blessed experience. I learned, I grew, I sang, I acted, I danced, I made friends, I laughed, I cried (in a mall!) and did so many more things all because of TSAY. :)
If there is one thing needed to be said, it's that I'll definitely be back for a TSAY 06.
And if there was one thing proven in these five weeks, it's that "True bonding is not measured by the time spent together or the favors done for each other, but by the comfort you find when you realize you have each other. :)
God bless Chancel Repertory.

Tada.
That's why I didn't pass ICAlettes.

Oh and I didn't submit it to the Chancellor because it's embarassing... :\

Hello? Hello?

Testing my new xanga. Gee, this place is kinda confusing, but I guess I'll get used to it. And I should get used to posting in two places too, haha.

Hello to all the tsayers out there reading this! When I figure this out, I'll subscribe (or whatever) to your blogs. Just gimme a sec.

I don't even know how to add a tagboard...
